Get the tissue....

Wow, I am humbled hearing this:

You Tube Link

It is a little tune called Il Silenzio, we have taken a part of it here in the US and call it TAPS, the trumpet piece that closes the day on military bases, also closes the chapter of those that have served in our armed forces at there lay to rest ceremony.

Live Long and Prosper.

Lucky Number 7...

Happy Holidays. All of them. looking back on things it appears that it has been only seven months since my last post. I can not even say that I was dumped on an island with nothing but my will to survive and a volleyball names Wilson, Nope - Nothing that exciting. I have just been a working stiff that has been beyond rude, I mean you have been sitting there waiting ever so patiently for my post. I would call you Victor, however you parents might object.

Well, I will make a better attempts to keep you entertained, at a more frequent interval, I also noticed that you didn't let me know that you were sitting here, waiting, and waiting, and waiting. What if I had been on an island with Wilson, and only Wilson. My Wilson however only lets you see the top half of his volleyball head. it is nothing personal he just thought that keeping the lower half of the ball covered he only had to use one half of the amount of sun screen.
until next time,

Loose nuts and bolts.

On the Eve of my grandmothers 95th year it was discovered that she has a terminal condition. And it has me a little rattled, not that any one around me, save family, knows or will I admit it. it does however have one sit back and look at what one person truly has to offer to others on this big ball constantly falling around the sun. I am attempting to write a letter expressing how I feel and dancing around the fact that I am also saying goodbye. Individuals deal with grief in odd ways, some times it would be easier I think if one never knew. However knowing can help you prepare. It is those around that also have to prepare. I hate awkward times, How am I to act. I deal with drama and tragedy on a daily basis. How am I to interact with those that have been sheltered by it?

Some of the questions above are just random thoughts, however some take thought.

Don't be sad for me, for I have lived, Loved and have been happy! Dont be sad for me however celibrate my life and the love that I have given to you. Go in peace and Spread the word of hope that others may know the joy in my heart! - (That was just me, here is some one who has studied...)

Jesus said…"Abide in Me, and I in you…for apart from Me you can do nothing."
John 15:4-5
I leave you now with this prayer: that the Lord Jesus will reveal Himself to each one of you, that He will give you the strength to go out and profess that you are Christian, that He will show you that He alone can fill your hearts. Accept His freedom and embrace His truth, and be messengers of the certainty that you have been truly liberated through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. This will be the new experience, the powerful experience, that will generate, through you, a more just society and a better world.
God bless you and may the joy of Jesus be always with you! - Pope John Paul II

Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder

This is how it goes: I decide to wash the car; I start toward the garage and notice the mail on the table. OK, I'm going to wash the car. But first I'm going to go through the mail. I lay the car keys down on the desk, discard the junk mail and I notice the trash can is full. OK, I'll just put the bills on my desk and take the trash can out, but since I'm going to be near the mailbox anyway, I'll pay these few bills first. Now, where is my checkbook? Oops, there's only one check left. My extra checks are in my desk.

Oh, there's the coke I was drinking. I'm going to look for those checks. But first I need to put my coke further away from the computer, oh maybe I'll pop it into the fridge to keep it cold for a while.

I head towards the kitchen and my flowers catch my eye, they need some water. I set the coke on the counter and ooh oh! There are my glasses. I was looking for them all morning! I'd better put them away first.

I fill a container with water and head for the flower pots - - Aaaaaagh! Someone left the TV remote in the kitchen. We'll never think to look in the kitchen tonight when we want to watch television so I'd better put it back in the family room where it belongs. I splash some water into the pots and onto the floor, I throw the remote onto a soft cushion on the sofa and I head back down the hall trying to figure out what it was I was going to do?

End of Day: The car isn't washed, the bills are unpaid, the coke is sitting on the kitchen counter, the flowers are half watered, the checkbook still only has one check in it and I can't seem to find my car keys!

When I try to figure out how come nothing got done today, I'm baffled because I KNOW I WAS BUSY ALL DAY LONG!!! I realize this is a serious condition and I'll get help, BUT FIRST I think I'll check my e-mail...

Acapella

Hay,

one of the things that I have not done as much as I should have recently is sing. a few of my buddies and I used to sing all the time, with good reviews no less. I feel a little revived when I hear great talent, I know that I have gone a little video crazy recently, however I get a kick out of some of these and if I don't do some of the quickies, I would just become the recluse again - Sooooo Just watch the videos... I will have to do something else here soon. Hmmm that went a little off topic so before I go rambling again ... Here:

One of my most loved peices of music - tweeked...

hay,

One of my most loved writings of music is 'Kanon und Gigue in D-Dur für drei Violinen und Basso Continuo' or in English Canon and Gigue in D major for three Violins and Basso Continuo or most commonly known as Canon in 'D' by Johann Pachelbel. It is a remarkable piece if artistic music, and can stir the soul in most folks. Think Hay Jude - slow start then goes to head banging - love that one also that is from the radio days due to it being a 6 min and something song and it gave me time to run to the head. I have heard several variations to the piece and some of the them go a bit over board and some hit it dead on. I will admit this one took my by surprise, why don't you take a listen and let me know what you think, I will reserve my comments until a later time - save that the video is a compilation of about 40 different shots, and the tonal quality is off on some of them and some of them are a little sharp & flat so put it on the lo/qual speakers and have a listen --

Yah, Me Lap Top Is Back!

last year I wrote that I was a bit bummed due to my laptop having been stolen. Well Thanks to support of friends, and the local law enforcement, I have been able to get it back! A lot of property is still out there, however I am compelled to celebrate even the small victory's. So to those of my friends that had to endure my whining of missing the 'puter and such, thanks for hanging in there, I am a much more tolerable person now.
